Short Biography
Dr. Ibrahim Haddad is the Head of Infotainment at Volvo Cars, leading the development of next-generation in-vehicle technologies. Previously, he served as VP of Strategic Programs at the Linux Foundation, Executive Director of LF AI & Data and the PyTorch Foundation, and VP of R&D at Samsung Electronics, where he built Samsung’s open source division. He has also held key roles at Ericsson Research, Open Source Development Labs, Motorola, Palm, and Hewlett-Packard. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Concordia University.
